Alright...guess how much I found out about Sunny filming? Almost nothing!! I have been trying extremely hard and it is very difficult to find information on filming.
I did find out that they start filming tomorrow, June 23 and are filming through June 29. According to the casting site, Heery Casting, they are looking for asian people to potray tourists on a boat, two people to potray homeless people, and people that would be willing to film at a shore location.
Please if anyone finds out anything by tomorrow let me know because I really want to get to the set for you guys! I hope to find out something!!
This is a blog about movies being filmed in the Philadelphia area. I have been to many local movie sets including Transformers 2, Dark Fields, and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. I am updating my blog almost everyday and letting people in on all the productions currently filming in Philadelphia.

Wizard World Philadelphia Day 3 Report June 19, 2011
Hello and welcome to the final day of reports about this year's Philadelphia Wizard World!
So I got to the covention around 12:30pm on Sunday and I was extremely tired from the crazy weekend, but I was excited for another day of the convention. Today I was dressed like Tim Burton's Alice from Alice in Wonderland.
I was able to find my friend who was dressed up like Batman again, although on Sunday he was a giant Solomon Grundy.
My other friend was once again dressed up like Stay Puft since the costume was such a huge success!

Besides for buying a few items from the various stands, I tried to get around to the celebrity tables and talk a little with some of the other stars of the convention (the real stars are the cosplayers in my opinion).
First, I approached Jake Llyod since his booth was empty as I was walking by. Instead of mentioning Star Wars, I decided to express with him my love for Jingle All The Way... because nothing is better than Arnold dressing like a superhero and Sinbad being an evil postman villan. He seemed to get a kick out of the fact that I mentioned this film rather than Star Wars. He told me that yes, he still has Turboman...awesome! He also said that he is taking a break from studying film editing from Columbia, I am assuming that he is just enjoying talking to fans at conventions. In any case, he was really friendly and seemed like a really nice guy. The girl that was at the booth with him even told me that she liked my Alice in Wonderland costume, so that made me happy!

Next I went over to Brian O'Holloran from Clerks. I noticed that he was never listed on the guest list for Wizard World so I told him 'You are not even supposed to be here today!' If you are aware of the Clerks film, you might know that Dante's (O'Halloran) main line in the film is 'I'm not even supposed to be here today.' I thought it was really ironic and comical that they booked him at the last minute. I managed to get him saying the line for my video. O'Halloran was also a really nice guy he was telling me about a few of his upcoming appearances because I told him my friend was a huge fan and unable to attend this convention.

Next, I managed to get a quick picture with Nicholas Brendon from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I did not talk to him very long, but I did ask him if he would ever make his twin brother, Kelly fill in for him at a convention to which he replied that he would never because he loves the people at the conventions so much. Little did I actually know that his twin brother was actually with him. I did not attend the panel so I actually had no idea that he was also there.
Some other fun little things I noticed were the cool face painting that was going on for the kids.. If I remember correctly, Superman was doing the face painting which was really cute. I stopped by the artist alley and tried to check out the artwork of each artist and they were all amazing. I especially like how the artists have their own interpretations of popular comic book characters and they all make them their own.
I stopped by Adam Baldwin's panel for a little bit as well and found him trying to play six degrees of Kevin Bacon which was entertaining.
By the end of the day, people were starting to loose it and began putting swapable heads on Stay Puft. It was comical and a sign that people were getting a little silly at the convention!

I ended up leaving the convention a little before 4:30 mainly because I was so tired of the weekend's events. It was a long, but extremely fun weekend. The worst part was saying bye to all of my friends at the convention. I can't wait for Wizard World 2012! June 1, 2, & 3, 2012!!

As promised...here is the video from the convention:

Wizard World Philadelphia Day 2 Report June 18, 2011
Wizard World Day 2!
Alright so get ready for a lot of fun stuff from day 2... it was crazy busy! I got to the event around 1:30. I would have arrived earlier, but my friend was supposed to come with me, but kind of bailed on me due to a migrane (boo!) So I was alone on day 2, but I managed to find a lot of my friends. I stuck with my friend dressed as Stay Puft all day and hung out a lot with the Philly Ghostbusters.
Highlights from day 2 had to be Zombie Gumby (you can see him in the video), Stay Puft dancing (also in the video), the Wolverine photo bomb, and getting to see a lot of my friends. Oh and Bruce Campbell wearing a white suit and bow-tie...yea.
On Day 2, I had 2 costumes, my first costume of the day was Claire Bennet from Heroes, you know, Save the Cheerleader, Save the World! I heard that a lot!
So again we basically walked around and just talked to people. I was excited to see how many people dressed as Doctor Who characters because last year there were only about 5 of us...so excited more people are dressing like the Doctor!
The best part was actually trying to get around the convention because when your friend is dressed as Stay Puft, you can move about 1 foot and stop another foot and stop...mainly because of people taking pictures.
My friend actually won the costume contest and people were chanting 'Stay Puft Stay Puft' right before they announced best in show. I told him that there was no contest because he had to win the contest...his costume was epic...and if you are wondering, it took about 22 roles of white duct tape alone! He was also really excited when Sean Patrick Flannery stopped his 3 hour waiting line to run out and get a picture with the Stay Puft man (also in the video).
He also got a great picture with the two kids from Walking Dead.
Around 3:30/4:00 I changed my costume to a Glee Cheerio, but people were still calling me Claire, so I changed back to Claire...ughh!
Its ok, but I did not care which I wore, just giving the people what they wanted! I walked downstairs and they were doing some really cool photoshoots so I jumped in on a couple of the female cosplayers pictures and heroes vs villans pictures...so that was fun.
My post today is going to mainly consist of pictures. So enjoy the pictures and see you all later!

Wizard World Philadelphia Day 1 - June 17, 2011
Ok hey everyone! Thought I would post my experiences from the first day of Wizard World in Philadelphia. I am obviously starting with day 1 and over the next 3 days I will post more and more from each day. Sorry if this writing is not up to par, because I am extremely tired from this crazy weekend and I am doing the best I can, hopefully I do the event justice!
So on day 1 I got the to the event around 1:30 with my friend, Mike...we were dressed as the Doctor and Amy Pond from Doctor Who... we looked pretty good in my opinion.

The event was not too crowded on Friday, thankfully, but there was still a lot to see. As usual I am most interested in the cosplay and of course the celebrities, because I know you all love to hear about the celebs.
The first day I did not do too many things besides walk around and get my picture taken...I love photos :) The highlight of the day was when my friend Mike approached a stormtrooper thinking it was a mannequin and was a bit shocked and embarrassed when the guy started to move, nice going! Of course I got this on video which you can find on my youtube...I plan to post the video on the blog along with day three stuff.
Right before we left for the first day, I saw the Stay Puft marshmellow man...as I wondered who would be so awesome to make a Stay Puft costume and was shocked to hear him say through his mask, we are friends on facebook...apparently I knew Stay Puft..so cool! It was actually my good friend Aaron.
As you will see over the next few days of blogging I am friends with a lot of the best cosplayers!
Yea, I know, day 1 is short, but like I said we did not do to much partially because my friend Mike is not into these kinds of things that much (I know, BOO!)... more stuff happened on days 2 and 3 so stay tuned for that! Until tomorrow!!

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia Filming
Hello ALL!!
I just wanted to let you all know that I have discovered when the filming of IASIP will take place! YAY! So on Glenn Howerton's twitter account he stated:
Shooting in Philly starts June 23. Come see us. But, stay at a distance or we'll strike #SunnyFX
No idea of where they will be shooting when they arrive, but at least we know now when it starts...if I hear anything else I will let you all know!

In Loving Memory of Toni Bolis (Donato) and Baby Ryan
I do not usually post current local events that have nothing to do with filming and / or celebrity sightings, but I felt like I had to make an exception on this one. Last week, the daughter of my father's close friend was killed by a distracted driver along with her unborn child, Ryan. I have not seen Toni in a long time, but I know she was an amazing person who greatly impacted people in life and in death. On June 1, Toni was driving home from a doctor appointment when she was hit by a 21 year old driver using his GPS enabled phone who crossed over into her lane of traffic and hit her. Toni passed shortly there after and efforts to save her unborn child, Ryan were unsuccessful. Toni would have given birth to her second child this week.

All over the Internet, there are sites with multiple comments from friends, families, and total strangers. One person shared his story of the events in the emergency room on the eve of her death and expressed his wants to hug her family and details how he watched them bring Toni and Ryan in and out of the emergency room. This individual was a total stranger, yet even he and his wife were impacted by Toni and stated that they will no longer cherish petty things in life, but relish in being with the ones they love. Just as this person was affected, hundreds of others have joined the facebook group, 'In Loving Memory of Toni and Baby Ryan,' a group created shortly after her untimely death. Since its creation less than a week ago, membership to the paged has swelled to over 3,300 members. Friends and family shared their stories of Toni and how she was willing to help anyone who asked. Many of the posts on the wall start with the words 'I did not know Toni...' a true testament to the fact that even in death, she made an impact on peoples lives.
I, on the other hand, did have the privilege of meeting Toni on a couple of occasions and wish that I was able to know her more. I remember when I was about nine years old, Toni and her family spent some time at my shore house. Now our shore house is not extremely small, but that weekend we had about sixteen people staying there which can make things extremely cramped. Toni and her family were among those who spent the night at our house and even though we were all young, I can still remember Toni's kindness and her incredible relationship with her two sisters and her parents. Toni and her family are some of the friendliest people that I have ever had the pleasure of meeting.
I did not attend the funeral or the viewing for Toni and baby Ryan, but my parents told me some of the things they witnessed. At the viewing (which 4,000 people attended) they told me how they had waiting three hours in a line that practically circled the building, and as they left, there were still people in the same position in the line that they had started. The church was also packed for the funeral with attendants, some of whom travelled over two hours to say their final goodbyes. In my opinion Toni had no friends, she had 4,000 family members because Toni and her family are the kind of people who are so warm and welcoming that everyone they meet instantly becomes family. When this many people attend a funeral, even a total stranger would know that this person had to be special, and Toni Bolis was special.
If you are reading this and you are able to remember to do so, please wear green tomorrow, Friday June 10 in memory of Toni and baby Ryan. Green was not only her favorite color, but also green ribbons are used to bring awareness to distracted drivers. And remember, next time you feel like you need to check your email, send a text, or check out your GPS while driving, think of Toni Bolis and her baby. Just pull over, no one else has to die for your mistake.

Key West / Filming / Wizard World Philadelphia 2011
Hello and MAY THE FOURTH BE WITH YOU! (Star Wars reference nerds!)

Just a quick update on things going on/my life (who cares).
First of all, as some of you might know (if you follow me on twitter), I recently went to Key West again, my favorite vacation spot!. I competed in a bed race, yes a bed race, and guess what? My team won! I was pushed down the street on a bed designed to resemble Herbie and I was dressed as a drunk Lindsay Lohan, good times!
I raced for a local Key West bar, Irish Kevins and we managed to raise over $800.00 for AIDS research in under 1 hour! It was a lot of fun and felt great to actually win over sixteen other fierce competing teams.
Other than that, Key West was lovely and exciting as usual. If you want to know more about my trip, check out my twitter and you can follow pretty much everything I did during my vacation.
Secondly, still nothing filming in the city worth mentioning besides for the occasion commercial or reality television shoot. I typically do not cover reality television because it is not only difficult to follow while it is shooting, but it is also not as exciting to report on reality, obviously. I believe that Its Always Sunny will be returning for a day or so next month or early July, I will post any information I recieve about the filming. Finding information might become more difficult as Michael Klein is no longer writing his Inqlings column.
Lastly, I will be attending Wizard World Philadelphia (aka Philly Comic Con) again this year. Last year was a great success and I was able to meet and chat with a lot of celebrities and I really enjoyed reporting on the event last year. If you read about my posts from the event last year, please make sure you check out THE WEBSITE and buy your tickets NOW! The three day event is a lot of fun and it takes place June 17, 18, and 19th. You can buy tickets for one, two, or all three days! (I suggest all three because there are different things on each day). This year has a great guest list which you can check out on their official website as well. I am really excited about this year and already have my costumes all planned out! So check back next month for sure after I post more information about the event! Some pictures from the event last year are below.

Thanks and keep checking back for more updates. If I hear any new info about filming in the city or Wizard World I will be sure to let you all know!
