Key West / Filming / Wizard World Philadelphia 2011

Hello and MAY THE FOURTH BE WITH YOU! (Star Wars reference nerds!)

Just a quick update on things going on/my life (who cares).

First of all, as some of you might know (if you follow me on twitter), I recently went to Key West again, my favorite vacation spot!. I competed in a bed race, yes a bed race, and guess what? My team won! I was pushed down the street on a bed designed to resemble Herbie and I was dressed as a drunk Lindsay Lohan, good times! I raced for a local Key West bar, Irish Kevins and we managed to raise over $800.00 for AIDS research in under 1 hour! It was a lot of fun and felt great to actually win over sixteen other fierce competing teams. Other than that, Key West was lovely and exciting as usual. If you want to know more about my trip, check out my twitter and you can follow pretty much everything I did during my vacation.

Secondly, still nothing filming in the city worth mentioning besides for the occasion commercial or reality television shoot. I typically do not cover reality television because it is not only difficult to follow while it is shooting, but it is also not as exciting to report on reality, obviously. I believe that Its Always Sunny will be returning for a day or so next month or early July, I will post any information I recieve about the filming. Finding information might become more difficult as Michael Klein is no longer writing his Inqlings column.

Lastly, I will be attending Wizard World Philadelphia (aka Philly Comic Con) again this year. Last year was a great success and I was able to meet and chat with a lot of celebrities and I really enjoyed reporting on the event last year. If you read about my posts from the event last year, please make sure you check out THE WEBSITE and buy your tickets NOW! The three day event is a lot of fun and it takes place June 17, 18, and 19th. You can buy tickets for one, two, or all three days! (I suggest all three because there are different things on each day). This year has a great guest list which you can check out on their official website as well. I am really excited about this year and already have my costumes all planned out! So check back next month for sure after I post more information about the event! Some pictures from the event last year are below.

Thanks and keep checking back for more updates. If I hear any new info about filming in the city or Wizard World I will be sure to let you all know!
